It's undeniably construction season. And while that often means short-term inconvenience navigating road closures and equipment, once work concludes Adams Morgan will have a slightly newer look. A few of the more visible projects include the 18th St NW streatery pilot program, the Columbia Rd NW bus priority project, 1836/1840 Kalorama Rd renovations, and DC Water's ongoing lead pipe replacement.
Aside from this, October is as busy a month as any in Adams Morgan. The Adams Morgan Apple Festival is back on October 19. And ANC 1C03 resident Shawn Chittle is organizing the second annual Halloween Dog Parade to take place in Kalorama Park starting at 1pm on Saturday, October 26. I hope to see you there!
Now let's review September 2024, look toward October 2024, meet our organization + business in focus, and see this month's video briefing.
